Accident
On December 21 around 8.30 pm, one tourist vehicle (ML-05M-7655) dashed against a local taxi (ML-05E-4325) at Laitjem, Mawngap . As a result, one occupant of the tourist vehicle sustained injuries and was admitted to a hospital.
On December 21, one vehicle (ML-05E-6433) driven by William Kharmuti (36) dashed against a wall at Lawsohtun, Shillong. As a result, one occupant sustained injuries and was admitted to a hospital.

Body found hanging
On December 21, the dead body of Hosling Pariong (53) was found hanging in his house at Pariong village in West Khasi Hills. Necessary formalities have been observed and the cadaver was sent to the hospital for post mortem.

Water supply disrupted
Johnson Kharkongor lodged a complaint that on December 20 around 7.45 am, residents of Lamlyer village led by the Sirdar, destroyed the source of water supply constructed under the Community Development Scheme 2015-16 issued by the BDO, Mawryngkneng at Nongdalum, Umphyrnai in East Khasi Hills.

Car capsizes
On December 20 circa 9 pm, one Maruti Alto car (ML-05E-2153) driven by Kajol Hajong (26) capsized at Bolsalgre in South West Garo Hills. As a result, five occupants sustained injuries. However, only one of the injured persons was shifted to a hospital.

Man missing
Spirit Sylliang lodged a complaint that on December 16, her mentally unstable son Bhabok Sylliang (30) was found missing from Lad-Jagiroad, Umsning.

Theft
In the intervening night of December 14 and December 15, miscreants stole a scooty (ML-05M-1380) belonging to Akash Singh, which was parked behind Hotel Polo Towers, Shillong.
P.M Adhikari lodged a complaint that on December 15, he found that unknown miscreants have stolen three gold chains (1 tola each) and cash Rs. 2,000 from his house at Lum-Roman, Umsning.

Fraud
Ashok Kumar of DGAR, Laitkor lodged a complaint that on December 13, unknown persons fraudulently withdrew Rs. 1,50,000 from his account in Delhi.

House break-in
On December 12 between 2.30 am and 4.30 am, unknown miscreants broke into the house of Taisangkim Gangte at Lower Nongrim Hills, Shillong and stole one laptop, three cell-phones, one power bank, shoes and cash Rs. 1,000.

A driver of local taxi B/R no ML05L 2896 is wanted in connection with LAitumkhrah PS case no 147(09) 2017 U/S8 POCSO Act. Any person havimg knowledge of his whereabouts are requested to contact Madanriting PS 0364- 2223069 and police control room 2222277.
