SHILLONG: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is likely to announce its candidates for the upcoming polls in phases.
BJP state president Shibun Lyngdoh said the party is in the process to constitute the election committee and it wants national president Amit Shah to come to Shillong and finalise the panel.
“Only after the formation of the election committee, the final survey for the polls will be done,” Lyngdoh said but added that the dates for the visit of Shah and Home Minister Rajnath Singh to Shillong have not been finalised.
