SHILLONG: The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) is going to contest at least 10 seats and maximum 15 in the upcoming Assembly polls.
KHNAM working president Adelbert Nongrum said the party would announce the candidates as soon as it finalises the names.
“We are in the process and we want good candidates who are acceptable to people,” he said.
Maintaining that some candidates want to join the party, he said the process is taking time as they have to follow formalities. Till date, no sitting MLA has expressed their willingness to join the party.
