SHILLONG: Congress legislator AL Hek is yet to meet his supporters to take a decision on joining BJP. “I will have to meet my supporters before taking the final decision,” Hek said.
Speculation was rife that Hek will join BJP by the end of this month.However, when contacted on Tuesday, Hek said he was yet to take a decision.
Earlier, Hek and other sitting legislators, Sanbor Shullai, Robinus Syngkon and Justine Dkhar were to share dais with Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his recent visit to Shillong but they did not come.
