SHILLONG: On January 8 around 9.30 am, an accident took place between one Mahindra pick-up (ML-06-7372) driven by Mekomlin Nongrang and one scooty (AS-01-0957) ridden by Arjun Marsini at Umling in Ri Bhoi.
As a result, the scooty rider sustained injuries and was shifted to the hospital for treatment. Matter is under enquiry.
Meanwhile, on January 1 around 10.20 am, one motorcycle (number not known) knocked down Ioanis Syiemsad (30) at Mawlai Umthlong, Shillong.
As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was admitted to a hospital.
