BJP, NPP leaders join KHNAM

SHILLONG: The Khun Hynniewtrep National Awakening Movement (KHNAM) has got a shot in the arm after a leader from BJP and National People’s Party (NPP) respectively joined the regional party at Mawhati Umtngam in Ri-Bhoi.
Wanlam Makdoh, secretary of BJP, Mawhati and Lambor Damblong, member of NPP have also decided to extend support to Zaachari Shadap, KHNAM candidate from Mawhati who will contest the Assembly elections.
Makdoh joined KHNAM along with 50 supporters and Damblong also came along with his supporters at a meeting held at Mawhati Umtngam to welcome them.
