SHILLONG: The HSPDP unit in Mawryngkneng will support UDP candidate Pynkhlainborlang Mukhim following an internal review of its earlier candidate, a statement issued on Thursday said.
HSPDP’s Blatsbor Kharpran was named for the constituency but there were complaints against him that prompted the party to review his candidature.
The statement on Thursday said after Kharpran “betrayed” HSPDP, the party will extend support to the candidate of its ally.
