SHILLONG: The BJP, Amlarem Mandal, welcomed B. Lato to the party at a meeting held on Monday in which the members present vowed to extend their support to RL Tariang, former MLA of the constituency.
Tariang, who is the president of BJP Amlarem Mandal, expressed delight at Lato, who served at Pdengchakap PHC, for joining the party. Referring to power projects of Leshka, Umngot and Umkshar, he said, “There are diamonds in the constituency which are not taken seriously.”
