SHILLONG: The National People’s Party (NPP) candidate from North Shillong, Erwin Sutnga, launched the mobile application of the constituency to highlight the issues and policies which he will take up.
Addressing the media on Wednesday, Sutnga said people can check the programmes which he will address in the coming five years with the help of the app.
The app can be downloaded and installed from Playstore under ‘Paving the way-Erwin Sutnga’.
Commenting on his political prospect in North Shillong, Sutnga said, “The people of the constituency are in a state of meditation.”
He added that the main opponents would be known only after the scrutiny of nominations but maintained that national parties like the Congress and the BJP still have their vote bank.
Hoping to win the elections from the constituency, Sutnga said he would not give away MLA schemes to construct drains but for free tuitions to students, address the needs of senior citizens and improve the health sector, among others.
