Water supply, market project on UDP candidate’s agenda

JOWAI: UDP candidate from Jowai Moonlight Pariat said on Saturday that he would focus on water supply schemes for the constituency.

Speaking to reporters after filing the nomination papers, Pariat said water supply from the Umngot and the Myntdu rivers would be on top of his agenda, besides completion of the Iawmusiang market project.

He also mentioned setting up of an institute for skill development to help educated youth get government jobs.

Pariat will contest against NPP candidate Wailadki Shylla and Congress’s Awhoi Andrew Shullai, the JHADC Chief.
