Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Monday said that the National Democratic Alliance, with which his Janata Dal-United has an alliance, will be successful in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls.
“There are some people who are telling different things about the likely results of 2019 polls. But I have an advice for them — don’t harbour false notions… the NDA led by the Bharatiya Janata Party will again succeed,” Nitish Kumar, who is also President of the JD-U, told the media here.
Nitish Kumar claimed that Bihar had got more than expected in the 2018-19 Union Budget presented in the Lok Sabha on February 1. He also hailed the central government for providing health insurance to the poor and minimum support price for agricultural produce to farmers. (IANS)
