Caution during wind
The deputy commissioner and chairman of East Khasi Hills has issued an advisory to the public to take extra care on account of strong winds to avoid accidents. The advisory urges the public to properly check their electricity lines and store objects such as lumber piles, loose tin sheets and bricks, garbage cans and sign boards safely.
