Price revised
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills District has informed that with the implementation of GST, the price of S.K. Oil (PDS) has been revised and fixed with immediate effect. Wholesale price from Jowai and Thadlaskein Depot will be at Rs. 25.15 per litre. Wholesale price from Shangpung outlet will be at Rs. 27.30 per litre. The retail price at retail centres from Jowai and Thadlaskein S.K. Oil Depot will be at Rs. 27.10 per litre and retail price at retail centres from Shangpung S.K. Oil outlet will be Rs 29.45 per litre.

Holiday
The Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Meghalaya has informed that all factory owners in the state are directed to declare a weekly holiday in respect of their units on the date of poll on which will be on February 27, instead of the first day of the week as provided under Section 52 of the Factories Act, 1948.
Notification
The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly, has declared February 27 a paid holiday under the N.I Act, 1881, due to the General Elections,. This notification is applicable to all public, private, commercial and industrial enterprises including shops and factories situated in the state to enable voters to exercise their franchise.
Election duty
The Junior Staff Officer of Civil Defence, Nongpoh has informed that Home Guard volunteers, who have submitted their names for duty in the upcoming Assembly Elections 2018 are directed to report to the Police Reserve near the SP office in Nongpoh on February 23 at 10 am sharpfor deployment.
