SHILLONG: The Enforcement Branch, office of the Commissioner of Excise, seized 130 liters of illicit liquor during a raid and arrested 12 persons under the Meghalaya Excise Acts and Rules.
Raids were conducted on February 23-24 under the supervision of the Excise and the Deputy Superintendent of Excise, Enforcement Branch, Shillong at Laban, Iewduh, Umtyngar, Happy Valley and Jhalupara areas.
