Complaint against editor
Pios Kurbah, INC candidate from Mawthadraishan constituency lodged a complaint against the editor of a local daily for a news item that he alleged had misled the voters of the constituency and affected the reputation of the complainant (candidate).

Damage to property
Donglangki Pde of Chilliang Raij, Jowai (WJH) lodged a complaint that on February 27 around 11 pm, unknown persons trespassed into his residence and pelted stones and broke the window glass of his house.

Threat
Laipyndapbiang Shylla lodged a complaint that on February 26 around 8 pm, three persons namely, Deimon Dhar, Balen Lyngdoh and Marble Phai chased him and others with a vehicle (ML-05H-7640) at Kyndong Tuber village (WJH), stopped their vehicle and threatened with dire consequences.

Joseph Pariat, Headman of Moodymmai village (WJH) lodged a complaint that on February 25 around 10.30 pm, three women informed him that they were threatened by one Jese Suiam and others. When Pariat intervened, the accused threatened him. Again, around 3 am in the morning, Jese Suiam pelted stones at the complainant’s house and threatened his whole family with dire consequences. The accused also warned that after the counting of votes is over, they will burn down his house and kill the complainant or other member of his family.

Accident
On February 25 around 6 pm, one mini truck (AS-01-HC-9251) loaded with electrical goods capsized at Jowai Bypass NH-44 Khliehtyrshi village (WJH). As a result, one occupant sustained injuries while the driver fled away after the incident. It is further reported that miscreants stole goods from the mini truck.
