SHILLONG: Tura police have made elaborate security arrangement for the counting day.
West Garo Hills SP Raghavendra Kumar MG said there will be a three-tier security system at the counting centre while two to three mobile nakas will be set up in and around Tura.
According to the SP, sufficient traffic arrangements have been made and no illegal parking will be allowed in and around the counting centre.
As dry day has been declared in the constituency, the district police will also deploy additional manpower in some sensitive areas.
