Live telecast
Peitngor Cable News (PCN) will show a live telecast on the counting of votes on Saturday from 7:30 am at cable tvs and LED screens put up at Polo parking lot for the general public. The live telecast will show counting in Shillong and the entire district. There will also be a panel discussion in which the panelists are RG Lyngdoh, Tokiwaio Blah, Billy Domes, Sumarbin Umdor and A.K. Nongkynrih.
Atheletic meet
Geological Survey of India, North Eastern Region, Shillong is organising the XXIX All India GSI Atheletic Meet 2018 on March 9 for the very first time at Shillong where selected players of GSI from different corners of India will participate in which the Governor of Meghalaya will be the chief guest scheduled to begin at 9 am at JL Nehru Stadium.
