SHILLONG: The NPP has ruled out aligning with the Congress to form the next government.
Speaking to The Shillong Times, NPP state president WR Kharlukhi said on Saturday that there was no question of aligning with the Congress to form the next government.
“How can we work with a party which has all along been engaged in vilification campaign against NPP and even linking it with BJP,” Kharlukhi said.
Congress and NPP will have a strength of 40.
