Rice released
The Sub-Divisional School Education Officer, Tura Sadar has informed that Mid Day Meal Foodgrain has been released with effect from February 22 as 3rd quarter for the months of October, November and December 2017 for 38 days at the rate of 058.999 gms per child per day for students of LPS and 50 days at the rate of 144.413 gms per child per pay for students of UPS.

Legal awareness
To celebrate the International Day for women on March 8, the Office of the District Social Welfare Officer, West Khasi Hills District in collaboration with the Meghalaya State Commission for Women and NGO’s will organise a two-day Legal Awareness Programme on March 8 and 9 at Nongstoin, West Khasi Hills District. The programme will be attended by members of NGO’s, community leader, students, women’s and youth groups.
