KHLIEHRIAT: A young scholar from Lad Rymbai in East Jaintia Hills has cleared the Agricultural Research Scientist (ARS) examination whose results were announced on February 23. Kamni Paia Biam, who is the recipient of ICAR-Junior Research Fellowship and NDRI-Fellowship, completed his pre-university from St Anthony’s College in Shillong with a first division in 2009 and joined the BSc at Assam Agriculture University, Jorhat.
He obtained his Masters degree from the same institution. Currently, Biam is pursuing PhD at National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal.
