Mukul Sangma quits as Amapati MLA

SHILLONG: For chief minister and the leader of the Opposition in Meghalaya Assembly, Dr Mukul Sangma on Friday submitted his resignation as the MLA of Ampati constituency in Garo Hills to the Assembly Speaker, Dr Donkupar Roy. The former chief minister also won from Songsak constituency in the Assembly election held on February 27 last.
