SHILLONG: The central executive council of Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) has condemned the murder of the president of Jaintia Youth Federation (JYF), Poipynbun Majaw at Khliehriat on the night of March 19 last.
In a statement issued here, the general secretary of KSU, Donald Thabah expressed grief at the sudden demise of Majaw, who, Thabah said, stood for the rights of the tribals.
The union urged the authorities to take the mater seriously to nab the culprits. The Union conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family members and said that it was ready to extend help to the JYF.
