SHILLONG: The UDP may come out of the regional alliance that was formed with HSPDP and GNC amid much fanfare before the Assembly elections in Februray.
UDP leader Paul Lyngdoh said on Saturday that the party has formed a core committee that is tasked with assessing the performance of the regional alliance in the state polls.
“The committee will assess as to how much the alliance has helped or weakened UDP as a party and … take a final call on whether the alliance should continue or break,” Lyngdoh said.
