Banks to remain open on March 30 in Assam

GUWAHATI: In view of the need for clearance of large number of pending bills and cheques in all the treasuries of the state, the Government of Assam vide a Notification under NI Act, 1881 issued on Thursday has declared that all banks will remain open on March 30, 2018. This order has been issued in cancellation of the holiday on account of Good Friday on March 30, 2018.
