Byatikram MASDO celebrates completion of 90 days of ‘No Horn Campaign’

GUWAHATI:  BYATIKRAM MASDO’ s initiative “No Horn Please” campaign started on 1st
of January 2018, With huge success this campaign has completed its 90 Days . On the completion of
90 days, the No Horn team visited the Local Head Office (LHO) of State Bank of India with the volunteers and the fashion icons who were present throughout the campaign.
Dr. Saumen Bharatiya, President Byatikram MASDO said we have taken this initiative to make
Guwahati a noise free city. In this duration of 90 days we gladly inform that as per our capabilities
and sometimes even beyond that we have tried to cover up all the nook and corner of our city to
spread the awareness message “No Horn Please”. The main aim behind conducting the campaign so
long and at the hub of Northeast, Guwahati is that one fine day Central and State Government will
declare a particular day as “No Horn Day”. The day when no one will honk unnecessarily that very
day we can proudly say us to be successful.
Digmanu Gupta, General Manager of State Bank of India stated that we should all be inspired
from our neighboring state and try to walk together on the journey towards a noise-free city. Young
students were also a part of the whole initiative.
Om Prakash Mehra, General Manager of State Bank of India also stated that we must always
make way for the pedestrians while driving and always remember that everyone has the right to
travel on the road without being disturbed by others. The CDO, Shri Ashish Biswas and AGM (PR &
CSB) ,Bimal Deb were also felicitated by team Byatikram.
The fashion icons on board were Puja Sarkar Ghosh, Christina Roy, Anamika Sarma Deuri, Santosh
Agarwal, Sanghamitra Deka Bhuyan, Pallavi Das, Bhaskar Saikia, Gayatri Lal and many more. T-shirts, caps, stickers of the campaign were distributed among the employees of the SBI  LHO. Everyone expressed their views on the initiative and how we have come so far with the campaign.
