Apex Bank
The Meghalaya Cooperative Apex Bank has been ranked first out of 1,507 establishments across the country for exempted establishments which was released by the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) for January, 2018. Performance is evaluated along six parameters and the Bank scored 600 out of 600 for January, 2018.
Condolence
The Shrimanta Shankardev Cultural Centre has mourned the death of Utpal Saikia, a retired superintending engineer of the Department of Irrigation, Government of Assam who breathed his last on April 3. He was also a member of the managing committee of the centre.
