SHILLONG: Speaking on a lighter note, Congress MLA HM Shangpliang said, “CM to refrain from saying, ‘When I was MP. You are the CM not an MP’.”

To this, Chief Minister Conrad Sangma replied, I talked about issues I raised an MP in 2016 and 2017. But on a lighter note, I am still an MP, Sir.”

Earlier, Sangma, in his reply to the debate on the budget, recalled the discussions he had with union Ministers as an MP.
