Anomalies in D.El.Ed taken up with NIOS: Rymbui

SHILLONG: Meghalaya’s Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui said in the state Assembly on Tuesday that the anomalies in the result declared by the National Institute of Open Schooling ( NIOS) for 1st batch had been taken up with the Chairman, NIOS, Noida as well as Regional Director, NIOS, Guwahati.

 Replying to a question posed by NPP MLA Wailadmiki Shylla on the Diploma in Elementary Education Programmes (D.El.Ed), Rymbui said anomalies of marks received from the study centers were sent to the Director Evaluation, NIOS, Noida and to the Regional Director, NIOS, Guwahati for necessary corrective action.

 He added rectification of the anomalies in the mark sheets was still being taken up by the NIOS.

 To a supplementary query, he informed the deadline for the teachers to complete their training was March 31, 2019.
