Major reshuffle effected in Meghalaya police

SHILLONG:  The 2nd in Command of SF-10, Stephan Rynjah has been posted as the new SP (City), East Khasi Hills while the incumbent SP City, Spill Thamar has been   posted as the SP of Ri Bhoi in a reshuffling affected by the State Government.

East Jaintia Hills SP, Nazarius Lamare has been transferred as SP, Anti Infiltration Directorate while Chempang Syrti, Commandant 3rd MLP Battalion, has been posted as SP, Fire and Emergency Service.

The commandant of the 2nd MLP Battalion, Goerage, Dr Sacheng Marak is now the SP of North Garo Hills district while the SP of the District, Dalton Mark has now been posted as the Commandant of the 2nd MLP Battalion, Goerage.

SP, Anti Infiltration Directorate, H Toi will now be the Assistant Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) while Ri Bhoi SP, Ramesh Singh has been posted as the Commandant of the 3rd MLP battalion, Khliehtyrshi, Jowai.

Assistant Inspector General of Police (Law and Order) Rituraj Ravi will now be the SP (VIS), SB organization while Sylvester Nongtynger is the new SP of East Jaintia Hills.

The SP of Fire and Emergency Services, Mary GT Sangma has now been transferred as 2nd in command, SF-10, Shillong.
