Ri Bhoi, Nongpoh BJP members quit party

NONGPOH: Aggravated with the current affair in the party, leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party BJP Ri Bhoi District Youth Body and the Nongpoh Mandal decided to quit the party and also slammed the party agenda.
According to them, they alleged that some party leaders were disrespectful towards other leaders of the party and also that they were fed up with the current state of affair within the party.
“We had joined the BJP following the agenda of the central government led by the BJP under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who introduced the Sab ke Saath sab ka Vikash, however, this agenda has never been fulfilled by the party to the general public and this is against our motive,” informed the leaders.
The BJP has spread message of hatred of religions especially Christianity in the country leading to frequent attack on Churches and Christians.
Taking this into consideration as leaders, we cannot adjust with this ideology of the BJP, added the leaders.
District Youth Body president Weili Hanse, Anthony Kharnaior, president of the Nongpoh Mandal, Biju Sylliang, vice president of Nongpoh Mandal, Gilbert Hanse, youth president Nongpoh Mandal, Superlin Syngkli, assistant secretary youth Nongpoh Mandal, Jemnud Mawphniang, general secretary youth body Nongpoh Mandal and Marius Marwein, general secretary of the District Youth Body quit the BJP on Monday.
