Valuables of soccer players stolen from J N Stadium

SHILLONG: In a shocking incident, mobile phones, jackets and shoes of a number of football players were stolen from the premises of J.N Stadium during the AIFF Under-18 Playoffs match on Thursday.

The Meghalaya Football Association in an FIR filed with the police said that the theft took place on Thursday at around 3.30 PM during the AIFF Under-18 Playoffs match between SAG Football Academy and Minerva Punjab FC

As per the FIR, valuables mostly mobile phones worth Rs 109700 belonging to players and officials of the SAG Football Academy were stolen from the dressing room of Team B.
