SHILLONG: The State Bank of India Life Insurance, Laitumkhrah branch organised a fund raising event on Wednesday at 11:00am at its office in Laitumkhrah.
An amount of Rs 3,79,277 was donated to the William Lewis Boys Home in Mawphlang and Rs 3,02,080 was donated to the NEIMA Children’s Home in Pynursla.
Regional Sales Manager (NE) Pratap Power, Area Sales Manager (NE) Mridul Kalita, Divisional Sales Manager (SHG) Tanuj Boraik, Senior Agengy Manager Anupama Khongthohrem and Agency Manager (SHG) Dipankar Koch were present during the event along with SBI staff.
Rev W.Wahlang of the Presbyterian Church of Mawphlang was also present along with representatives from NEIMA Children’s Home and the Superintendent and Chairman of NEIMA.
