Course training of Bharat Scouts & Guides concludes in city

SHILLONG: Deputy Commissioner PS Dkhar, who is also the president of the Bharat Scout and Guides (BSG), East Khasi Hills District, on Saturday spoke on the importance of scouting and guiding in schools for overall development of students.
He was the chief guest at the valedictory function of BSG’s week-long combined basic course training for Scoutmaster and Guide Captain that was held at the BSG headquarters in the city. He urged scoutmasters and guides captains, who attended the programme, to open units in their schools. There were participants from 39 schools of East and West Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi.
