Woman missing
Lenish Marak lodged a complaint that on May 29, his wife Benalji R Marak (28) along with their three children left Torikakona village (NGH) for Bajengdoba (NGH) and went missing since then.
17-year-old girl assaulted
On June 5, public assaulted one 17-year-old girl at Mihmyntdu village, West Jaintia Hills, while she was attempting to steal clothes from a shop. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was removed to NEIGRIHMS, Shillong. Matter is under investigation.
One injured in accident
On June 6 around 9 am, one mini truck (ML-05R-3987) driven by Santosh Kumar Rai (28) dashed against a roadside guard wall at Mawiong, Shillong. As a result, one occupant sustained injuries and was removed to Civil Hospital, Shillong. Matter is under enquiry.
Motorcycle stolen
On June 4 at about 9 pm, one motorcycle (ML-10A-8941) belonging to James Syngkli was found missing from Morningstar Secondary School, Nongpoh in Ri Bhoi. Matter is under enquiry.
