SHILLONG: The Hynniewtrep Petroleum Workers Union on Thursday met Chief Minister Conrad Sangma urging him to reopen the Oil Storage Depot at Pyllun, Umiam in Ri Bhoi.
Union leader A Diengdoh said, “The main agenda of the discussion is to reopen the depot that started in 1992 and was closed down in 2009.”
