TMB to collect waste from all town localities

TURA:  The Tura Municipal Board and the Development Committees of Tura in a meeting held recently at DRDA Conference Hall, Tura on Segregation of plastic waste and recycling have jointly decided for collection of plastic waste from every household in Tura area.

According to the arrangement, every household under each locality will keep their plastic waste segregated like plastic wrappers and plastic bottles separately. This will be collected by the Municipality vehicle once a week from one designated collection at every locality on different days commencing from 9th June 2018, the timing for which is from 7:00 to 9:00 AM. All Development Committees have been instructed to intimate the Tura Municipal Board office on the point of collection.

As per the schedule for collection, Jangga, Upper Wadanang, Lower Wadanang, Dingdora, Spring Hills, Asiljong, Walbakgre, Nazing Bazar, Dakopgre, Matchakolgre, Deringgagre, Chinap Asillang areas will be collected on Wednesday while Cherangre, Western R C Road, Durama Gittim (Cherangre), Sampalgre Kasinang, Sampalgre, Deran Gittim (Rongkhon), Songgiltalgre (Dobasipara), Dobakkol, Nabin Pally, Balsri Gittim, Dobasipara, Boldak Ading, Rishipara and Nakam Bazar areas will be collected on Thursday.

On Friday, it will be collected from Bonepa, Upper Chandmary, Western Chandmary, Akimbri, Lower Chitioktak, Deran Gittim (Chitoktak), Chitoktak, Wadanang, Balading, Upper Babupara, Lower Babupara, Nikrang Ading, Akonggre, Fancy Valley, Beldalpara, Agriculture Colony, Modynagar Nehru Ading areas and on Saturday from Jerusalem Arailmile, Goanang, Hawakhana, Lower Sunny Hills, Sunny Hills, Balsanang, Nikwatgre, Lower Ringrey, Forestilla, Lower Hawakhana, Dingdora and Proper Chandmary areas.
