SHILLONG: Pynthorumkhrah MLA, A.L. Hek inspected the Golf Link and Polo areas for beautification as part of preparation for the National Games 2022 to be held in Meghalaya.
On Saturday, Hek who is also the Health Minister inspected the areas along with officers from PWD and MeECL. The Minister urged the engineers of PWD to speed up the on ongoing beautification project.
The beautification project is being carried out at Polo. Hek urged the officials to widen the road from CRPF Camp till Shillong Secondary School located at Lumsohkynphor, Golf Link.
Hek also told the MeECL officers to dig the distribution cables underground along the CRPF camp road to beautify the place and to ensure no dangerous situation arise during natural calamities.
