Youth council objects to unqualified teachers

Shillong: The A’chik Youth Council (AYC) Tikrikilla branch has raised strong objections against the recent appointment of unqualified candidates for the post of assistant teacher at Pragatipur Deficit UP School.
In a press statement, AYC said the interview and written test were conducted in the school on December 20, 2017, in the presence of SDSEO Dadenggre sub-division .
However, no call letter or intimation of information was given to all the qualified candidates to appear for written test, interview or viva voice. AYC criticised the managing body of the school for not maintaining transparency.
