NONGSTOIN: A woman identified as Amika G Marak (22) of Songsak village under Shallang police station was killed by unknown miscreants inside her house at Songsak village.
While receiving information on the matter, the police rushed to the spot and on reaching there they found that the deceased was lying in the bedroom with a pool of blood and police suspected it to be a case of murder.
After observing all formalities, the body was brought to Shallang police station with a view to send it to Shallang PHC on Saturday for conducting post mortem examination.
The family members of the deceased have filed an FIR at Shallang police station and in this connection a case is being registered.
