Curfew further relaxed in city

SHILLONG: With the law and order situation in the city returning to normal, the East Khasi Hills District Magistrate has reduced the curfew timing from Saturday.
In all the areas falling under Shillong agglomeration, the curfew timing is from 12 midnight to 5 am.
In the sensitive areas, the curfew will be enforced from 10 pm to 5 am.
The affected areas include Lumdiengjri police station including Jaiaw, Mawkhar, Umsohsun, Riatsamthiah, Wahingdoh, Mission, Mawprem, Lumdiengjri, Lamavilla, Qualapatty, Wahthapbru, Sunny Hill, Cantonment and Mawlong Hat including cantonment beat house areas (excluding localities beyond Umshyrpi bridge).
