NONGSTOIN: On Friday a person identified as Belnis Thabah (26) was assaulted with a dao by Bahheh She Kharjana of Maroid village.
Sources said that Belnis is a taxi driver and he was dropping the wife of the accused who reserved his taxi at the time of the incident.
As a result the victim sustained injuries and he was admitted at Tirot Sing Memorial Hospital,Mairang.
A case was registered after an FIR was filed by the father of the victim at Mairang PS and the police are yet to arrest the accused.
