Local holiday
West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner Ram Singh has declared July 16 as local holiday to all government offices, courts and educational institutions in the district on account of Garo Labour Corps Day celebrations. Therefore, all offices and institutions shall remain closed on the day.
General meeting
The Seng Khihlang will hold its general meeting at Bharat Scouts and Guides at 11 am on Saturday. All presidents and secretaries or any two members of the Seng Khasi Seng Raij are requested to attend the meeting.

North Eastern Service of All India Radio, Shillong in its Invited Audience Programme section will hold live discussion on ‘Cyber Security Awareness’ from 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm on Friday. R. Muthu, Special SP, CID, and Amit Chaudhury, Group Head, ICT & Services, C-DAC, Kolkata GoI, MoE&IT will be the resource persons in the studio of AIR to answer the queries of invited audience. This programme will be available on SW 60.36 Meters Corr 4790 Khtz and on Additional frequency 100.1 Mhtz. It will also be available on AIR NE-DTH and AIR-Live Streaming mobile Apps on North Eastern Service for other interested stations to relay.
