General meeting
The Lamare clan, Shillong, will hold its general meeting at the seminar hall, State Central Library at 2 pm on Saturday. All clan members residing in and around Shillong city are requested to attend the meeting.
Heavy rainfall  
The India Meteorological Department has issued a weather  warning  whereby heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over Assam and Meghalaya from July 12 to 14.
FIFA screening
The DC, East Jaintia Hills District, Khliehriat has informed that the District Administration will put on a giant screen on the final day of the FIFA World Cup at Jaintia Eastern College on Sunday. He also informed that the venue will be under strict security surveillance and no person under the influence of alcohol or other intoxication will be allowed to enter the venue.
