SHILLONG: Senior UDP leader Paul Lyngdoh, who lost the Assembly elections held earlier this year, is now exploring the possibility of contesting either the district council elections or the Lok Sabha polls to be held next year.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Lyngdoh said, “I have not given my final word either for the autonomous district council or the Lok Sabha elections.”
Lyngdoh said he was contemplating the idea of contesting either of the two polls and added that he will take a conscious decision only after due consultations with party colleagues, workers and supporters in his constituency.
