SHILLONG: KHADC Chief Executive Member (CEM) HS Shylla on Tuesday said he expects the list of Executive Members (EMs) to get the Governor’s approval on Wednesday.
Asked about the election of the deputy chairman, he said the matter is being processed by the KHADC legislative wing.
The EMs whose names figure in the list are Antonio War, Donkupar Sumer and Rona Khymdeit (all from UDP), People’s Democratic Front MDCs James Sylliang, Blanding Warjri and Latiplang Kharkongor and NPP MDCs Jansing Tynsong and Victor Rani.
Shylla had recently informed that the election of the deputy chairman will be held before the Council’s summer session scheduled to begin from July 25.
