Cong delegation meets Arunachal Guv over compensation scam
Itanagar: The Congress in Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday sought early intervention of Governor Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra in the Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) compensation scam and urged him to direct the state government to hand over the case to CBI or any other central investigation agency for fair and transparent investigation. A delegation of the Arunanchal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) led by its president Takam Sanjoy submitted a memorandum to the governor apprising him of the multi-crore embezzlement while disbursing compensation to the beneficiaries in the portions of TAH at Lower Subansiri and Kamle districts of the state, a party release said here.
