General meet
The Seng Khasi Kmie in its general body meeting held on June 24 elected 22 executive Committee Members for the term 2018-2019. Don Kupar Dkhar was elected as the president, vice-presidents are Oplysor Pyngrope, Arwan S Tariang and Oberenson Shanpru, PD Nongrum as general secretary and other members. The headquarters of the Seng Khasi Kmie functions from the premises of the Seng Khasi Hall located at Mavis Dunn Road, Mawkhar. Public desiring to meet the office bearers of the Seng Khasi Kmie may inform the office adjacent to the work place ki Tymmen Ki San located in the same premises one or two days in advance.

Debate
T7 news will hold a debate on the KHADC (Khasi Social Custom of Lineage) (Second Amendment) Bill, 2018, at Savio Hall in Laitumkhrah at 4 pm on Monday. The moderator will be Rikynti Marwein and the panelists are KHNAM MLA Adelbert Nongrum, former president of Seng Khasi- Banteilang S Rumnong, Advocate Erwin Sutnga , KSU president Lambokstarwell Marngar, CSWO president Agnes Kharshiing, TUR member Angela Ryngad and FKJGP president Wellbirth Rani.
