SHILLONG: Residents in Jhalupara are irked with the irregular supply of drinking water for the past 5-6 days.
The residents said that it’s been almost a week, the water supply has been very erratic and water is being supplied only for 10-15 minutes in a day.
They have not heard from PHE or the Shillong Cantonment Board on this irregularity of water supply.
Some residents who were also hoping for rain water to fill their buckets are also miffed as there has been hardly any rain for the past one week.
