1 killed, several injured in accidents

SHILLONG: An accident occured at Imtyra on Sunday at 6.12pm, two were injured when a truck overturned after losing control at a bend. The victim, Muhamed Sharik (22/M) was shifted to Khliehriat CHC where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
A bike ridden by one Dameshwa Warjri (32/M) dashed against an electric pole at Lumdiengiri at 1.22 am on Sunday. The victim sustained injury and was shifted to Woodland Hospital by 108 Lawmali-based ambulance.
A hit and run case was reported from Dhanketi around 3.10 pm. The bike was hit by a car identified as a Renault Kwid car. Lucky Singh (21/M) suffered minor injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong by Laitumkhrah-based 108 ambulance.
One Ambrosia Marngar (32/F) was critically injured when a Maruti Wagon R car overturned at Markasa Mawroh around 3.56pm on Sunday. The victim was shifted to Nongstoin Civil Hospital by Markasa-based 108 ambulance.
Two youths were injured at Nongbri on Sunday at 4.07 pm when their bike skidded. The victims identified as Narshining Nongrang (20/M) and Runningstar Nongrang (22/M) were shifted to Mairang Civil Hospital by Mairang-based 108 ambulance.
Antim Lamang (33 /M) met with an accident on Sunday at 4.34 am near Nongmynsong when the bike he was riding collided with another bike coming from opposite direction. The victim sustained a head injury and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong by108 Lawmali-based ambulance.
One Pynskhemborlang L Nonglait (21/M) who was riding his scooter was hit by a bus at Mawlai Mawtawar on Sunday around 5.09 pm. The victim sustained injury and was shifted to Civil Hospital Shillong by 108 Shillong Civil based ambulance.
