Jaipur: A 35-year-old woman officer of Indian Revenue Service (IRS) allegedly committed suicide at her residence here on Monday night. Binny Sharma, a mother of two, hung herself from a ceiling fan in her house in AG colony. The matter came to light on Tuesday morning when her mother found her lifeless body, police said. “In a suicide note, Sharma blamed her husband Gurpreet Walia and mother-in-law for ruining her life,” SHO of Bajaj Nagar police station Raisal Singh said. Her husband is an officer of Indian accounts and audit service (IA&AS) posted in Chandigarh, Singh added. The body was handed over to her family members after postmortem, the officer said, adding that her husband was yet to arrive in the city. No FIR has been registered yet. (PTI)
